Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team! This role is ideal for individuals passionate about electronics, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic components and systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and repair issues with electronic devices or systems. Replace or rework faulty components using approved methods and tools. Document findings and repairs for reference.

  • Quality Assurance:

Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with technical standards and quality guidelines. Identify defects or irregularities in components or assemblies and collaborate with the quality team to resolve issues.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and test results. Follow detailed work instructions and update technical documentation as required. Communicate findings and escalate issues to supervisors as needed.

  • Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety procedures when working with electronic equipment. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, including ESD (electrostatic discharge) precautions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; in the process of receiving technical certification or coursework in electronics is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and assembly diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and electronic testing instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Prior experience in electronics or a related field is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily indoor work in a technical environment.
  • Some standing or sitting for extended periods and working with small components.
  • Adherence to strict safety standards is required.
